What data the game stores, why, and how you can delete it.
What we store
Name (nickname) and PIN (stored only in hashed form), email address, an optional profile picture, and if you sign in with Google, its account identifier and email address (we never see your Google password), your predictions, tips and results. If you enable browser notifications, we also store the push subscription (the browser service address and information about your browser).
Why we store it
To run the game: sign-in, scoring, leaderboards, profile and achievements. We use your email to confirm the address, send tipping reminders and results summaries; push notifications carry similar messages. You can turn notifications off any time on the Me page or via the unsubscribe link in emails.
What is public
Your name (nickname), picture, points, rank and stats are visible to other players on leaderboards and your public profile. Your email and PIN are never shown to others.
Cookies and local storage
We use a sign-in cookie (up to 30 days, readable only by the server), a language cookie, and browser local storage for light/dark mode and similar display settings. The site may also use Google Analytics for basic visit statistics (with anonymized IP addresses) if enabled.
IP addresses
The IP address is used to prevent abuse (limiting the number of attempts) and is stored only in hashed form. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
Sharing
We do not sell or hand your data to third parties for advertising. Services needed to deliver emails and push notifications are used for that purpose only.
Your rights
You can turn off notifications, change or remove your picture, change or remove your notification email and delete your standings prediction (before the deadline). To access your data or delete your whole account, write to info@euroleague-predictions.com.
